School Engagements

To strengthen internal capacity for leader development, we partner with schools and school networks in custom multi-month engagements.  Recent projects include:

  • Building the internal bench. We co-designed and delivered a Teacher Leader development program for a multi-campus charter LEA.  We collaborated with the instructional team to develop a competency-based rubric for Teacher Leaders that scaffolds to other instructional leadership roles. Our practice-based training built team across campuses and built institutional knowledge to gradually release the program to the organization.
  • Instructional strategy.  Our team partnered with a single-site charter LEA to refine their instructional strategy goals for the year. Bringing together real-time student data, long-term strategy for the school and our School Leader Lab Competency rubric, we co-developed specific goals and action steps.  We assessed and adjusted through the school year based on student data and instructional walk-throughs.
  • Team transition support. We were engaged by a growing charter LEA to provide planning, consulting and coaching of their instructional leader as they evolve their organizational structure.
